Yesterday we celebrated Jouni's birthday just the two of us as the girls are on holiday.  We ate sushi in Restaurant Ichiban in Mikonkatu and then went to the pictures to see Memoirs of a Geisha.  Sushi is sooo good and Sapporo beer really had a taste.  We've been making our own sushi starting last autumn but have not succeeded as well as they do in restaurants (heh).  It's maybe because of the rice or competence or something else.  But it's good!

The movie was touching.  "Stories that should not be told" she said in the beginning.  But how could/would we know anything about the lives in Japan or anywhere if these stories were kept secret?  It's so interesting and different, amazing.

Now looking for a place to stay in Pärnu in July...
