Weekend spent in our new home.  There's lots and lots of work to be done before we can move in.  Started outside, need to take care that water is not pouring in if it starts raining.  There is a problem with dampness downstairs, especially in the garage.  Because the house is built on top of a hill and there's rock around it we need to somehow stop water flowing to the ground by the house and inside from there through the wall material (siporex).  So digging all the ground away by the house first.  There was two big rocks (>300kg) which needed to be removed.  And because I have this husband and his dad who want to do everything by themself, they did it alone.  So grandparents were helping us the whole weekend.  Grandma cleaned all the flower beds from dandelions and other weeds, huge job really as there hasn't been anybody taking care of the garden for years.

Garden is really great!  Sun is shining all day round to the backgarden and there's no neighbours in sight.  It just needs a little bit of care, flowers, features and new furniture.  In the front I'm planning a Japanese garden or feature.  Water, rocks, moss and evergreens - peace and quiet.  It will be our cooling place after sauna.  Probably not the first thing to do but planning is such fun.
