Work progressing well on the roof.  Jouni made an estimate of two weeks and it will be waterproof (not really but the first cover is ready and tin roof can be done later).  I will add photos here later (now on 31st).

First they made the chimney, added some 1,5m of bricks to make it high enoug for the new roof.  Then started the wood work.  The new construction is build just above the old roof.  Basicly nothing taken off and the old tin roof will stay under the new one.  Lots and lots of wood hammered on the old construction and now I can already see the shape of the new roof.  Pictures would tell more but I have not been able to shoot any.  When I get home in the afternoon the sun is already on that side of the house that shooting will fail.  Should take those in the morning.

Jouni's father is great help!  And mother-in-law has been there cooking and cleaning places, outside mainly as men tend to throw things down (pieces of tin, wood, old insulation etc.) and serving drinks as the weather is just superb right now.  For a week we have had hot, sunny and just perfect weather for roof work.  Just in case I went yesterday to Tarjoustalo to get extra covers if change happens.  Cover is needed because there's really also holes on the roof, more on the edges but lots and lots of nails all around.  But hope it doesn't rain!
