Today we signed the contract - the house is really and finally ours.  Got the house keys too.  Transfering money was a bit complicated but managed anyway to gather enough.  Our old house has buyers and we got some money of this already.  Grandparents will move into this house and their house is now on sale.  Seems to get lots of interest, couple of people have been already checking and three more coming tomorrow.  Very easy move I would say :-)

Tonight we went to a parents' evening in the new school where the girls most probably will go to.  School is built in 1980 and totally renovated a year ago.  So very clean and tidy, including all the new gadgets and nice auditorium and gym.  Teachers were ok, principal is having a leave in the autumn to take care of her 1 year old daughter who has been quite ill during this school year.  We need to still go and see her or the deputy after the schools are closed for this spring to agree on the curriculum and other stuff.  Girls have had a bit different way to study in the English stream.  Girsl have also had French and that's not tought in the new school.  Alternative is to start German but the first impression was that it won't happen ("Plääh", said Tuuli).

Maybe it's time now to go and open a bottle of champagne?
