Shock slowly vanishing after the results in Finnish Parlament election were revieled last night.  Jouni's first reaction was to move to Norway.  Well not seriously, he just got email from a head hunter who was offering a post in our neighbouring country.  But really the result was a shock.  I would never had imagined that people really want these True Finns (Persut or Perussuomalaiset) to get the power and the main point in my own choice was to give my vote to any other party.  But after thinking today I do realise that most of the people just want a change and that would not happen if the old members and parties continue.  Now it will be interesting to see how these 'Persut" are going to make the promised change.  Will be seen if they have any other options after all, how to get the service continue for the ever growing number of retired or lower the figure of unemployed.  Biggest difference in opinion with the biggest party, National Coalition (Kokoomus) is the EU questions and whether and how to support the poorly surviving countries like Greece, Irland, Portugal.  Difficult task to start building Government given now to Katainen from National Coalition.  I don't know how they will find a common program to start working on.  But this has made politics much more interesting for sure.  Heini had first time the right and duty to vote and she was in for it from the start.  She said they had had lots of discussion with friends about the issues on at the talks of the candidates.  A big difference to the elections for a long time.
