Cuernavaca and Tepoztlan

Having spent two nights in Cuernavaca we finally got time to visit it's historic sites, Palacio de Cortes and Catedral de le Asuncion + couple of other churches.  It's amazing how different the churches are, some are full of gold and glory and others very modest but beautiful.  In the Palacio we saw first Diego Rivera's mural, later during the trip we have seen already dozens, Diego's and others.  This art is very typical for Mexico during the revolution times.

After the morning in the city we had to leave the exuberant hotel and continue our journey to Tepoztlan.  Yet another village, really different from the others we have visited having spectacular vulcanic rock formations.  Typical Mexican village center with church and market place, main street full of restaurants and putics.  We checked the Ex-convent Dominico de le Natividad before excellent lunch with a view to the mountains.

Coming back to Mexico City before the afternoon rush hour, missing couple of exits thus ending up to the historic center.  So we got first sights of the majestetic buildings already then.  After a couple of hours rest we were off to have dinner in Japanese restaurant where the cook prepared our dishes in our table in front of us.  Very good, fresh food and interesting performance.
