It's soon 2 mths anniversary for our new home or that's how long we've been living there.  Some remarks of the changes noticed this far.

Water is different.  In Vantaa we got water from Päijänne through the world's longest tunnel, Päijännetunneli (sorry only in Finnish).  Now we are using local ground water.  I can feel it in me!  No broken nails everyday, hair is better and need to use vinegar more often to clean the coffeemachine. So there's more lime in it.  My nails have been like this only on holidays when swimming a lot in sea water.  So should I now start growing those incredible long beautiful things to my fingertips?  I already started growing my hair :-)

Kids go to school themselves, no more driving them at certain time every morning.  Normally Heini goes at 8 and Tuuli at 9 or 10.  And we sleep late too before leaving for work (of course always the worst rush hour).  This has changed our morning routines so that we don't have breakfast together which is a bity.

Winter has arrived and we don't have a shelter for car.  So windows need cleaning every morning, plääh.

Grandma and grandpa are far and we don't meet as often as before.  No neighbours where to go when sugar bowl is empty or ran out of eggs.  No place to go when in need of good chat.

Overall quality of life is better. Sleeping well (except that Jesse has been in sleeping school (unikoulu in Finnish) and keeps waking me up every now and then).  Easier shopping, walking to bakery on Saturday mornings for croisants, aah.  Something to do all the time, no need to sit on the sofa and watch TV.  Always some plans to be made, now it's the bathroom upstairs.  Topics for discussion (you know we've been together 20yrs or so)!
