Sorry for being quiet in English for so long.  Finnish seems to be the obvious language when blogging at home.  English is logical at the office when all the other stuff I deal with is in English too :-)

Holiday was too short as always!  But we had really nice trips, Turku and Naantali especially as we had such a good company.  We had seen all the sights before but everything has a new glow when visiting with somebody else.  Or then it could have been because of the beer...  Pärnu was also something to see at least once.  It's referred to be the Scandic Mediterraenian, lots of white sand on a long long beach and good food.  Then it's still cheap before they change to Euros maybe next year or two.  Last trip was to Vormö island last week.  This was our sixth year there, maybe we do something else next summer.  But it is a place to relax and just be.  Watching the yachts and boats slowly passing by and sauna is the only programme if not talking about food.  Of course planning the next meal is the most important subject to talk about.

Weather was perfect whole summer and still is.  I think I've not heard any of those normal comments about lousy Finnish summers.  Let's wait until people who booked trips to Greece or Spain come back to work...  But I have to say that it's dry in here.  All plants are suffering, leaves are yellow and lawn mower has stayed in the garage.

We started work this week and girls go to school on Tuesday, Heini to 8th grade and Tuuli to 6th.  They seem to expect that already, enough of this free time not having anything to do ;-)  Go and check their web pages and leave comments!  It's a virtual kennel where you can take a pet who you need to take care at least every other week.  I don't know how.  But good for them to learn using computer and designing web pages.

Starting work is as difficult as ever or maybe worse.  Is it because of the age?  Or just that I have not found what I really would like to do in my life?  But I'm glad when the payday comes, holiday has had an effect on my bank account.  Maybe that's a good enough reason to scrawl here in the morning.  Well not really feeling that bad ;-)  Next week will be already ok, two days in Tampere on a seminar, Wednesday at Jyväskylä site and Thursday whole day management team meeting - no time to grieve.
