So we took a bus and then walked to Trocadero.  Enjoying the views on every direction but mostly with Eiffel on the background.  Heini took some 100 pics where Eiffel tower comes closer and closer all the time and finally looking up to the sky through the iron bars of the tower.  They are painting the tower, must take a year or something to go through all those small details.

On the way we saw gardens, fountains, statues, carousel, Seine and the boats.  No time to queue so next target was Concorde and decided to walk the way.  Good decision for us, felt really good to have some exercise and weather was good.  Heini complaint the view she had in the photos, Sari and me talking and walking ahead and almost in all photos only our backs visible.  Crossing Champs Elysee and then took metro to see Sacre Coeur.  I have seen the church couple of times so we did not go inside, Heini got her pics and we went for lunch in Place du Tertre.  It was time to have first beer, walking eh.  Once more excellent meal, the restaurant had a lovely inside terace (?), must test some time!  Place du Tertre was crowded!  Bought the must souvenirs, a scarf, bags, all with Paris written on somewhere.

Walk continued towards Amelie's cafe and Moulin Rouge.  But on the way we found The shop (receipt states La Piscine, 29 Rue des Abbesses).  First Sari spot the shoes, red, high and exceptional!  But were could we Finns wear those?  Had to say no, pity.  Every lady should have shoes just to admire at home, keep clean and shiny, wear alone only.  Not this time for me.  Heini found a bit more reasonable ones (Italian) for me and then somebody found me a dress for Tuuli's confirmation party this summer.  While having the dress on and checking myself in the mirror, the shop assistant brought me first a scarf and then a jacket to go with.  Excellent shopping, good service and wonderful company to make bargains ;)  The shop sold off season clothes, very limited size and models.  What a discovery!  Thanks thanks thanks!

Final destination was to have drinks on Champs Elysee and show the bosh shops to Heini.  Spotting clothes on the walkers-by.  Drinking Kir.  Enjoying the warm summer day and street life.  Excellent day spent well.  Time for last dinner in a restaurant near Sari's, a familiar place but had a total make over since our last visit.  I tasted oyster (from Sari's dish), interesting, might have a go some day.  One day left..
